KNOW US

This year we renewed our Scientific Council and incorporated advisers from institutions that day by day fight for the conservation of nature. It has also been a year in which we managed to develop basic infrastructure that will support academic work and we were able to start the selection and allocation of physical facilities.

Thus, considering the progress made in this year, we hope to achieve several objectives in 2019 and 2024 to strengthen our scientific and social work.

MISSION AND HISTORY.

With a view to the future, the change of logo responds to the desire to express to our followers, collaborators, allies, among others, the closeness, modernity, security, guarantee and commitment of our organization for the work we do in favor of environmental conservation.
The change of organizational image is the symbol of a new stage, which expresses what has been achieved during these last 11 years, of having acquired the necessary experience to be ready, to provide a significant contribution in environmental, social and general scientific relief issues.

Renewal is a quality of life, a prelude to growth and positive changes. In the field of organization, growing and changing is also a fundamental part of the life cycle of organizations. I hope that you can embrace this logo in the bottom of your heart and show it with commitment and hard work reflected in the improvement of our Panama. (Jose Pro Logos Panama 2020).

  1. Green color that has a strong relationship with the description of nature and the map of Panama is its vectorized faction.

  2. Golden Frog above Panama as an endemic species of Our Republic.

  3. The Celeste color alludes to serenity and with a vectorized faction with the symbol of connectivity.

  4. Panama, abundance of fish and butterflies, one of our strengths in entomology research, making an association between our strongest point in research (Butterflies) and Origin in the indigenous language to refer to a site with "abundance of fish and butterflies" Panama (banama).
